The Association

About us

SUNREUSE ASSOCIATION is a Spanish Collective Extended Producer Responsibility (SCRAP) System for Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) and Batteries and Accumulators, set up with the commitment and support of Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Batteries and Accumulators Producers.

SUNREUSE ASSOCIATION is authorised at a NATIONAL level as a WEEE SCRAP by the MINISTRY OF ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION AND DEMOGRAPHIC CHALLENGES with  National Authorisation Code 14/ SCR/RAP/CV in the Valencian Community Production and Waste Management Register, in accordance with Director General of Quality and Environmental Education Resolution, February 6, 2020.

Our goal is to manage all kinds of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) as classified under the seven categories in Appendix III to R. D.  110/2015 , 20 February, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment as well as waste Batteries and Accumulators in accordance with Royal Decree 710/2015, of 24 July, amending Royal Decree 106/2008, of 1 February, on batteries and accumulators and the environmental management of their waste.

SUNREUSE ASSOCIATION was created in accordance with L. O. 1/2002 of 22 March on the Right of Association, R.  D. 1497/2003 of 28 November in the National Associations Register and Law 30/1992 of 26 November from RJPAC. SUNREUSE ASSOCIATION is registered in the National Associations Register under number 598530.

SUNREUSE ASSOCIATION was also founded in accordance with the principles of the new Law 22/2011 on waste and contaminated soils and with the provisions of Royal Decree 710/2015, of 24 July, amending Royal Decree 106/2008, of 1 February, on batteries and accumulators and the environmental management of their waste, as well as Royal Decree 110/2015 of 20 February, on Electrical and Electronic Equipment, with the sole purpose of implementing a Collective System of Extended Producer Responsibility (SCRAP) of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment at national level, so that manufacturers and producers comply with the obligations arising from R.D.  110/2015.

Our goal as WEEE SCRAP is to give full coverage for WEEE Producer obligations.
 In the case of Solar Panel Producers the same would apply, since we also manage monitoring equipment, power inverters, batteries, accumulators, and production decreases, in addition to photovoltaic plates.
